March, 2006 Well, I really like the way we've gotten 2006 underway. The Lost River Band had a great time playing for all of you at Plank's in February, and I've already found a couple new places to do my own shows: Cheeseburger in Paradise in Hilliard and Brew-Stirs up at the Continent. The summer is shaping up nicely, with a lot of outdoor opportunities, which are always fun. Make sure you check the Calendar page often to get the latest poop. And if you're not on the e-mail list yet, head over to the Contact page and sign up. While I've got your attention, I want to run one more thing by you. I love playing with The Lost River Band and we're going to continue to play together as often as we can. But there are times when it's tough to schedule all five of us at the same time and there are some venues where a five-piece band is just a tad large. Especially when you're as big as we are. So I'd like to announce to you a slightly modified configuration of musicians we're going to call... SPUDBAR Spudbar will be a trio consisting of me, Langs and Ted, doing mostly familiar LRB songs, with maybe a handful of tunes you've mostly heard me do alone in the past, Actually, we'll be making it up as we go for a little while, but I'm sure it's going to be a good time. So far, we've lined up a couple dates on the patio at Gabby's Bar on Tamarack Circle this summer -- check that Calendar page for specifics on those and any new stuff that pops up.
